Curated by the University of Arizona School of Theatre, Film, and Television. Punctuated by director chats with filmmakers Roxanne Ibarra, Zachary Lovvorn and Sasha Reist, moderated by Friday Night Movie podcast host Shai Korman. ABOUT SASHA

Sasha Reist (she/they) is a New York-raised filmmaker, dancer, photographer and choreographer. Currently pursuing double degrees in Dance and Film & Television at the University of Arizona, Sasha has received multiple commissions to collaborate with dance faculty members on film works created in diverse settings. In 2022, she was the recipient of the 2022 School of Dance Creative Achievement Award. As a videographer and photographer, they have worked with organizations such as the Women’s Sports Foundation and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They currently work as a marketing and social media coordinator for Earl Mosley’s Diversity of Dance. In 2021, their film Connected Assumptions premiered at the Dance is Activism Film Festival. Changement is her first documentary. Sasha’s first fiction short, So This is Love, is about to debut.
