Every day at 2 p.m. the chef team from Arizona Catering Co will step out onto the patio to share how specialty items you may have tasted are made. Taste delicious samples every day for a peek inside some of the flavors that make Tucson such an incredible foodie city.


Chef Michael Omo is an award-winning Food & Beverage leader. He has a flair for creating innovative menu concepts, and he’s had great success developing and executing industry-leading hospitality concepts. Throughout his career, Chef Omo has led Food and Beverage operations encompassing a diverse spectrum of industry experiences from young companies to some of the world’s leading restaurant and hospitality brands. Currently, he oversees all aspects of culinary operations and the dining experience at the University of Arizona. As a senior leadership team member at the university, Chef Omo plays a crucial role in developing future dining and catering offerings available at the University of Arizona, allowing him to continue his career-long commitment to the Sustainable Food and Beverage movement and passionate support of small farmers. His hands-on approach and management style are vital to the consistent success of his top-performing teams, and he finds tremendous pride in teaching and mentoring others so they can achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
