Every day at 2 p.m. the chef team from Arizona Catering Co will step out onto the patio to share how specialty items you may have tasted are made. Taste delicious samples every day for a peek inside some of the flavors that make Tucson such an incredible foodie city.


Chef Lawrence Sanchez's passion for cooking is deeply rooted in his family's culture and food traditions. A culinary pillar at the University of Arizona, he shares his passion with the entire campus community. Chef Sanchez plays a crucial role in the execution of food production at the Student Union, overseeing all food preparation and execution. He consistently ensures the university's high culinary standards are met or exceeded.
Born and raised in Tucson, Chef Sanchez possesses a vast knowledge of Tucson's unique culinary landscape, including its rich history and current trends. His extensive career has given him a comprehensive background in catering, restaurants, and fine dining kitchen operations and a solid foundation of classical methods and current trends.
