The Cyber Team of Teams – Understanding the challenges and opportunities of the technology infused world of today and the future can be overwhelming, no matter your point of view. Artificial intelligence, big data, the internet of things, the metaverse and cyberspace can be confusing and costly. To thrive in this complex world requires a team of teams working together to build the tools we all need to safely navigate and create in the digital verse. This panel of experts from government, academia, and industry will share their insights on thriving in the cyber world we live in today. Moderated by the Dean of the College of Applied Science and Technology (CAST) at the University of Arizona, the panel will share their insights through guided discussion along with your questions.

ABOUT JASON

Jason Denno is the Executive Director of the Cyber Convergence Center (C3) at the University of Arizona. Mr. Denno’s experience includes over twenty-five years of designing, developing, deploying, and operating intelligence and cyber systems across the globe. His professional experience includes senior level positions in both large and small defense contracting companies; the Director of the Battle Command Battle Lab - Fort Huachuca (BCBL-H); and he is a former US Army Infantry and Signals Intelligence officer. Most recently, Mr. Denno developed the Cyber Operations and Intelligence & Information Operation degree programs at the University of Arizona. He also designed, developed, and deployed the CyberApolis Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) as well as co-developed the Proteus virtual persona artificial intelligence. In addition to a Master’s of Science in Cyber Operations, MBA, BA in Political Science, and multiple GIAC certifications in Cyber Operations, Mr. Denno is completing his PhD in Cyber Defense. Mr. Denno has written and presented on topics such as Human Hacking, Computational Propaganda, and Conflict within the Information Environment.
